Facebook came up with its platform. Google retaliated with OpenSocial. Since then, the two giants have been intense competitors for users’ hearts and minds.
Now that Google’s Android is out, will Facebook develop an app as it did for the iPhone? Probably not if Facebook have its way. But if Android becomes a formidable competitor to the iPhone, Facebook will have no choice but to create one.
Android early adopters rejoice. Facebook will eventually come out for the App Market… But not anytime soon. In the meantime, I’ll stick the iPhone App Store.
