My week with iPhone OS 2.1

Author: macuser - Categories: Uncategorized - Tags:

I’ve been using the iPhone 2.1 since it was released. Initially via the direct update, as detailed previously, and lost the jailbroken features. Then again when the PwageTool was updated to work with 2.1.

In my short experience of 2.1, here are some bugs (or changes) I’ve found:

- Audio mode for videos is gone. With iPhone OS 1.x, you can listen to video podcasts without the video displaying.

- Podcast syncing bug. When syncing a podcast that has not been listened (or viewed) in full previously, the same podcast will sync at the same unfinished status… even after you’ve finished listening to it on the iPhone.

- SMS 2nd beep bug. After viewing an SMS, the second notification beep still sounds.

- SMS beeps still don’t work when headphones are inserted.

Have you discovered bugs yourselves?
